I'm having a great weekend hanging with Paul and Tiffany Strong at Blytheville First Assembly. These guys are a sharp early 30s couple driven to reach more people with the gospel. God's hand is on this place.

Yesterday John Lindell announced the transition of Brad Wicks to the Executive Pastor role with David Crosby in Pennsylvania and the filling of Brad's role by Jonathan Hardy. Pat and I are very proud of him and pray God helps him build on Brad's good work and go to the next level.

Erin and Caleb and loving life in Des Moines. I haven't talked to her today but will give her a call. Family. Can't beat the ones God gives you!

Great trip ahead!

This is a wild week coming up. I have three days in the office and then hit the road Wednesday evening for a week of travel...Phoenix, Houston, Pittsburgh and then back home.

The Hardy Group is exhibiting at the Church Planters Conference in Phoenix with the specific task of trying to recruit seven church planters for the Iowa Ministry Network. Iowa is a great district and seven lucky people are heading that way. They just don't know it yet...but will by Friday:-)!

Then I head to Houston to meet with my good friend Joel Hunter at Northwood Assembly. Northwood is a relatively new church plant and next weekend I will be helping Joel look at every aspect under the sun relative to the church.

Then I head to Pittsburgh to meet up with Jeff Leake at Allison Park Church. Jeff is probably the consumate church planter and is one of the finest leaders in the AG. Great guy and good friend! Again, we are going to look at every aspect of the church from as many angles as we can find. Coincidentally both Joel and Jeff with be in Phoenix as part of the conference.

So by Wednesday night December 5th I'll be a tired but fulfilled boy!

I had a great day today except for this cold. I hope I can whip it tonight!

Had a great morning at church. Curt Cook rang the bell on John 4. Taught the final Bible Fellowship class on the subject of "Rain". By the way, it was raining out side. It was pretty good if I do say so myself.

Now we are off to Life Groups this fall at church. Pat and I are so excited to get started. The Watts and Isaacs and Cunninghams are on board with us and we are still looking for 2 other couples. Should be good!

The Prayer Meeting - Psalm 27:4

Pat and I just got home from the James River Prayer Meeting ...always good. Here's a familiar but powerful verse Pastor John spoke on tonight. Psalm 27:4 "One thing I ask of the Lord, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple."

Think about it. Is this good or what? This really is my prayer!
